摘要: The use of an indicator that is based on global climate change effects important to support decision-makers committed sustainable development. Our project demonstrated the life-cycle assessment (LCA) as a systematic approach analyzing construction and upgrade, operation, maintenance, ultimate decommissioning electric power plants. A case study hydroelectric plant (Glen Canyon) was completed, including sensitivity analysis. LCA performed in this research quantified emissions during different phases life plant. greenhouse gases (GHGs) were then characterized using warming potential (GWP) method. GWP method compare GHGs CO2. It provides relative impacts selection specific time frames. However, because compares any GHG potency CO2, we decided name for our assesses impact electricity generation technologies. effect (GWE) combines GWP, used comparative assessments
