摘要: One hundred cases of macroscopic supratentorial arteriovenous malformations are studied, along with the significant literature. On basis morphology, they subdivided into straight-line, single-unit, multiple-unit, intra- and extracranial, venous-wall types, one other questionable type. The study does not confirm a relationship pregnancy to bleeding. It absence vasospasm in association these lesions, increasing tendency lesion bleed smaller it is, equal sex distribution, peak incidence patient's fourth decade, lack significance family history, associated vascular lesions. stresses advantages preopertive three-dimensional angiography, surgical magnification, intraoperative serial angiography. is emphasized again that fistula itself must be removed or obliterated.
