摘要: In this paper we propose an approach to decompose the water footprint (WF) using remote sensing data on a global scale. The WF of crop is defined as volume consumed for its production, where green and blue stand rain irrigation usage, respectively. A method has been developed separate into components by analysing time series earth observation model simulations precipitation, soil moisture, evapotranspiration, runoff storage. takes account typical timescale moisture depletion. Soil estimates are retrieved from Advanced Microwave Scanning Radiometer-Earth Observing System (AMSR-E), Global Land Data Assimilation (GLDAS) employed test dataset. results show identification events preliminary calculations allowing us assess potential method.
