摘要: Methods Time-resolved, 3D phase contrast MRI (4D Flow) was used to assess AsAo blood flow in 55 individuals: 22 patients with BAV and 25 TAV, 8 healthy volunteers. Systolic patterns were characterized visualization software (EnSight, CEI, Inc. Apex NC). Abnormal helical defined as greater than 180' curvature of high velocity peak systolic streamlines around slower, central the AsAo. Vectorial wall shear stress (vWSS) calculated at systole for 12 angular segments along circumference just above level sinotubular junction using proprietary (flow tool, University Freiberg). Results demonstrated 17 patients, but none TAV or volunteers; this pattern seen both dilated (n = 7) normal 10), absence aortic stenosis 7), associated eccentric jets all cases. Figure 1 demonstrates right-handed a right-anterior jet patient fusion right left leaflets. Figures 2 exhibits Peak vWSS elevated quadrant 13 abnormal compared controls: 1.40 versus 0.52 N/m2, p < 0.001. Patients left-handed 4) showed trend toward increased left-posterior quadrant.
