摘要: Abstract The quality of surface waters/groundwater a geographical region can be affected by anthropogenic activities, land use patterns and fecal pollution sources from humans animals. Therefore, the development an efficient source tracking toolbox for identifying origin in is especially helpful improving management efforts remediation actions water resources more cost-effective manner. This review summarizes updated knowledge on markers detecting, evaluating characterizing receiving waters groundwater. suitability using chemical (i.e. sterols, fluorescent whitening agents, pharmaceuticals personal care products, artificial sweeteners) and/or microbial (e.g. F + RNA coliphages, enteric viruses, host-specific anaerobic bacterial 16S rDNA genetic markers) bodies discussed. In addition, this also provides comprehensive approach, which based detection ratios (DR), frequencies (DF), fate potential markers. DR DF are considered as key criteria selecting appropriate impacts contamination waters/groundwater.
