摘要: This paper presents a methodology based on Quantum GIS that allows the integration of recent satellite images to ancient or old maps The research uses as basis historical Jaboticabal topographical sheet 1927 (1:100,000), produced by Geographical and Geological Commission Sao Paulo. give positions farmhouses; colonies, rural chapels, railway sidings, stations, roads, rural, urban networks villages. In this paper, was georeferenced Google Earth image 2010, GPS data IBGE at 1:50,000 scale. Field control points remained in same geographical position since were selected. Then, GIS, it applied polynomial transformation, allowing geometric adjustment between image. Landscape elements represented digitized converted into buffers, then, overlaid It possible map areas where is most likely find nowadays objects built 1927. procedure allowed location remain ground today, extinct objects, fragments past those replaced others.
