摘要: Lung injury from pulmonary contusion is a common traumatic injury, predominantly seen after blunt chest trauma, such as in vehicular accidents. The local and systemic inflammatory response to includes activation of innate immune receptors, elaboration variety mediators, recruitment cells the injured lung. Using mouse model contusion, we had previously shown that Toll-like receptors 2 4 (TLR2 TLR4) mediate lung injury. In this study, used chimeric mice generated by adoptive bone marrow transfer between TLR2 or TLR4 wild-type mice. We found that, lung, both marrow-derived nonmyeloid contribute TLR-dependent responses cell type-specific manner. also show novel TLR2-dependent mechanism associated with enhanced airway epithelial apoptosis increased FasL Fas expression lungs Thus, addition cardiopulmonary physiological dysfunction, TLR their differential may provide specific targets for management patients contusion.
