摘要: The electronic properties of titanium dioxide (TiO2) nanocrystalline films, which were prepared by dip coating from Degussa P25 photocatalyst aqueous suspension, have been investigated surface photovoltage spectroscopy (SPS). As indicated the positive contact potential difference (CPD) change in sub-band-gap region, SPS shows that molecularly adsorbed H2O freshly film creates an empty electron state, is distributed within 0.79eV below conduction band edge, and acts as trap carrier recombination center. With aging or under a drying atmosphere, H2O-associated state diminishes, occupied due to oxygen, lying 1.06eV above valence identified reversed polarity CPD region. This information important developing better understanding real behavior.
