摘要: Catsper3 and Catsper4 are two recently identified testis-specific genes homologous to Catsper1 Catsper2 that have been shown play an essential role in sperm hyperactivated motility male fertility mice. Here we report knockout mice completely infertile due a quick loss of lack under capacitating conditions. Our data demonstrate both CATSPER3 CATSPER4 required for during capacitation fertility. The present study also demands revisit the idiopathic infertility patients who show normal counts initial defects potential CATSPER gene mutations. channel may be excellent drug target contraceptives.
