A review of personalised e-learning: Towards supporting learner diversity

摘要: The realisation of personalised e-learning to suit an individual learner's diverse learning needs is a concept which has been explored for decades, at great expense, but still not achievable by non-technical authors. This research reviews the area and notes some technological challenges developers may encounter in creating authoring tools pedagogical authors when activities enhance experience their students. At present educators who wish create require assistance technical experts are knowledgeable area. Even with help expert creation remains complex process new tailoring learner diversity. Before successful utilisation adaptive can be realised, academic need learn how effectively use these tools. All learners come education set characteristics; decide characteristic(s) they focus on addressing through activities. Further investigation, evaluation analyses required before support diversity achieved many academics. Research members AMAS (2013) project team currently involved developing tool e-learning.
