摘要: Amino acid based reduced Schiff base ligands that have often produced intriguing supramolecular coordination polymeric structures with metal ions been used as structure controlling agents in the synthesis of Cu2O micro/nanocrystals. micro/nanocrystals form solid spheres, cubes, rods, flat surfaced powders, spheres rough surfaces and octahedra were obtained by changing amino structure, hydroxyl functionality oxidizing agent. The absorption studies revealed different morphologies exhibited tunable optical band gaps between 1.71 eV 2.44 eV. Antibacterial showed crystals dispersed liquid are highly effective against both Gram-positive Gram-negative bacteria whereas, when tested agar diffusion method, they only Bacillus subtilis. All six a similar effect, antibacterial effect could possibly be attributed to altered membrane permeability caused Comparatively higher was observed case relative bacteria.
