摘要: In order to reduce the burden of electric arc furnace dust on steel recycling plants, a new technology called in-process separation (IPS) was proposed. By separating Zn vapor from solid particles in off-gas, production Zn-containing may be prevented. However, spinel formation reaction at high temperatures and its impact technology’s feasibility still require better understanding. This paper demonstrates model that developed provide this insight, based results our previous work kinetics formation.This evaluates performance IPS four key process parameters: position unit, time–temperature profile inside off-gas duct, particle size distribution, initial Fe content off-gas. The efficiency each parameter demonstrated using for specific treatment setup.
