摘要: Studies that address the potential effects of climate and land use changes on surface water quality are scarce in Mediterranean region. In present work, impacts nutrient copper exports from a humid catchment (Sao Lourenco) were evaluated using SWAT model. reproduced reasonably well total nitrogen (TN), phosphorus (TP) (Cu) Sao Lourenco, providing an adequate baseline scenario as suitable model parameterization for assessing under A1B B1 emission scenarios end 21st century (2071-2100). Land generated along same storylines change to assess combined two stressors. Climate itself led decline annual TN TP both mostly due decrease runoff erosion induced by reduction rainfall, but it hardly affected Cu largely its strong immobilization soils. per se resulted increase streamflow, varied markedly according scenarios. A substantial TN, was observed A1B, vineyard areas. Under B1, however, decreased much less while changed, reflecting differences preferential transport pathways these compounds. also remained same, no occurred The combination revealed additive all three contaminants, emphasizing importance integrated approaches define adaptive management practices can ensure future sustainability resources.
