摘要: Interspecific hybrids of Populus species are known for their superior growth. In this study, we examined the effect genetic background and contrasting environmental conditions on growth searched quantitative trait loci (QTL) affecting traits. To end, two hybrid poplar families resulting from controlled crosses, deltoides ‘S9-2’ × P. nigra ‘Ghoy’ (D N, 180 F1) trichocarpa ‘V24’ T, 182 F1), were grown at sites, Northern Italy Central France. At end second growing season, tree dimensions (stem height, circumference, volume) assessed. The performances both significantly differed within between sites. Tree volume was larger Italian site as compared to French site. Genotype by environment interactions significant but low all Tight correlations among individual traits indicated that there may be a common mechanism with pleiotropic effects these line previous studies, linkage groups I, VII, IX, X, XVI, XVII, XIX appeared have genomic regions largest This study revealed (1) high potential selection due pronounced heterosis (hybrid vigor) large variability in terms (2) choice is crucial cultivation.
