摘要: Abstract Biosorption of Pb2+ from aqueous solutions and desorption acid-treated olive stone were studied. Equilibrium screening tests lead established a solution 0.3 M hydrochloric acid as the most appropriate eluting agent. Fixed-bed biosorption recovery curves for obtained multiple consecutive biosorption–desorption cycles properties biomass compared after each cycle to evaluate stability biomass. The biosorbent retained its original uptake capacity over fourteen use. Life factor calculation revealed that bed would be completely exhausted 71.3 cycles.
