摘要: China is rich of germplasm resources common wild rice (Oryza rufipogon Griff.) and Asian cultivated (O. sativa L.) which consists two subspecies, indica japonica. Previous studies have shown that one the domestication centers O. sativa. However, geographic origin times in are still under debate. To settle these disputes, six chloroplast loci four mitochondrial were selected to examine relationships between 50 accessions 119 from based on DNA sequence analysis present study. The results indicated Southern genetic diversity center it might be primary region Molecular dating suggested subspecies had diverged 0.1 million years ago, much earlier than beginning domestication. Genetic differentiations phylogeography analyses was domesticated tropical while japonica located higher latitude. These provided molecular evidences for hypotheses (i) (ii) multiple times.
