The relation between salivary properties and in vivo solubility of dental cements.

摘要: Abstract An important application of dental cements is as luting agent for the fixation cast restorations. To determine possible correlations between in vivo cement solubility 2 zinc phosphate and polycarboxylate salivary properties, buffer capacity pH participants were investigated. Individual losses after 24 weeks plotted against individual capacities values. Regression analysis showed no correlation or saliva. It is, therefore, presumed that caused acids from plaque and/or food not saliva itself.
