摘要: Abstract A finite difference scheme for solving the equations of fluid motion in a generalized coordinate system has been constructed. The conserves mass and all first integral moments motion. also advectively “almost conserves” second moments, that magnitude implicit numerical smoothing is typically about an order smaller than explicit viscosity diffusion. Calculations with model support theoretical conjecture stable whenever analogous Cartesian stable. used to calculate dry atmospheric convection due differential heating between top bottom mountainous terrain. general small-scale characteristics mountain up-slope winds have simulated. In addition, results demonstrated crucial role played by eddy diffusivities environmental stability, determining both quantitative qualitative features circulation.
