摘要: Elastic response behavior of four different plasma-sprayed deposits has been investigated using depth-sensing micro-indentation technique. Due to the high degree porosity and inhomogeneity coatings, characteristic elastic moduli were found be in range 20–75% that dense bulk material (200 GPa). Considering wide variation properties, 150 data points generated with five indentation loads for each coating, statistical tools employed represent scatter data. The all coatings observed almost doubled when magnitude load was reduced from highest (1000 mN) lowest (30 mN). subsequently heat treated at 1100 °C, operational temperature a gas turbine, 2, 25, 100 h, coating grades corresponding increased significantly. However, stiffening effect not uniform two more pronounced smaller loads. increase modulus is attributed elimination fine sintering neck formation, an assumption also supported by results mercury porosimetry.
