摘要: This invention relates to the production of high elastic modulus, strength, corrosion-resistant oxynitride glass fibers for improved fiber-reinforced composites. The incorporation nitrogen into silicon-yttrium-aluminum oxide glasses enhances properties bulk glass. is first demonstration that such can be made fibers. addition practically any fiber composition will produce improvements in similar those shown system.
