摘要: Abstract A comprehensive understanding of the characteristics organic electroluminescent (EL) material tris-(8-hydroxyquinoline)aluminum (Alq 3 ) is meaningful for light-emitting devices (OLEDs). Thin films Alq are among most efficient EL molecular known to date. sample was synthesized and purified. The purity up 98.5%. electronic structure interaction in molecule have been studied. results a joint experimental investigation based on combination X-ray diffraction (XRD) spectra, hydrogen nuclear magnetic resonance (HNMR) infrared absorption (IRA) mass spectra (MS), emission (XRE) fluorescence obtained. analysis HNMR demonstrated that coordinate between Al 3+ O ion more intensive than N ion. AlO bond covalent molecule. has two types geometrical isomers, namely mer isomer fac isomer. IRA indicate very chelation aromatic ring. From MS ratio charge Fluorescence data confirmed existence fluorescent species formed 8-hydroxyquinolinol.
