摘要: Abstract A comprehensive understanding of the characteristics organic electroluminescent (EL) material tris-(8-hydroxyquinoline)aluminum (Alq 3 ) is meaningful for light-emitting devices (OLEDs). Thin films Alq are among most efficient EL molecular known to date. sample was synthesized and purified. The purity up 98.5%. electronic structure interaction in molecule have been studied. results a joint experimental investigation based on combination X-ray diffraction (XRD) spectra, hydrogen nuclear magnetic resonance (HNMR) infrared absorption (IRA) mass spectra (MS), emission (XRE) fluorescence obtained. analysis HNMR demonstrated that coordinate between Al 3+ O ion more intensive than N ion. AlO bond covalent molecule. has two types geometrical isomers, namely mer isomer fac isomer. IRA indicate very chelation aromatic ring. From MS ratio charge Fluorescence data confirmed existence fluorescent species formed 8-hydroxyquinolinol.
