摘要: The purpose of our study was a comparison pyrogenic and behavioural effects Escherichia coli (E.coli) Salmonella abortus (S.abortus) endotoxins in unrestrained, freely moving Wistar rats, placed thermal gradient having an easy access to ambient temperatures within range 5-40 degrees C. Hypothalamic chosen by the rats as well locomotor activity were recorded before after intraperitoneal injection 1 mg/kg lipopolysaccharide from E. or S. abortus. Control animals injected with pyrogen-free saline. Both induced warm-seeking behaviour which accompanied biphasic fever. Locomotor LPS-injected reduced. abortus-induced fever peaked at 100th minute (reaching 37.5 +/- 0.2 C) 250th 38.1 0.1 C). Respective data for were: 170th (when hypothalamic temperature reached 37.6 0.3 430th (with 38.6 Comparing abortus-generated both peaks LPS-induced significantly delayed (p < 0.05). A limited structural variability lipid bacteria is likely be responsible difference timing this study.
