摘要: Nuclear factor κB (NF-κB) is a family of major transcription factors that play various important roles under physiological and pathological conditions. NF-κB are ubiquitously expressed, including neurons glial cells the central nervous system (CNS). The in CNS, both as mediators transcriptional response to synaptic activity behavioral paradigms learning memory, focus recent studies. In this chapter, general structure, functions, regulation signaling first described concisely. Advances made understanding CNS brain diseases then reviewed more detail. pathway potential therapeutic target discussed at end.
