摘要: Publisher Summary The most successful integration of megavoltage computed tomography (MVCT) imaging with radiation therapy devices is the TomoTherapy™ Hi-ART. It currently only type patient treatment in which MVCT integrated as part device itself. Hi-ART II system can generate CT images from same X-ray beam it uses for treatment. These offer verification position prior to and potentially during therapy. amount integral dose (total tissue) that receives dependent on slice thickness total length imaged region. need be registered kVCT order establish proper positioning. Once are acquired reconstructed, therapist (RTT) has option use either automatic or manual registration, data set primary set. Axial, sagittal, coronal views available console assist operator registration process. There three different scanning modes—coarse, normal, fine—which correspond image thicknesses 6.0, 4.0, 2.0 mm, respectively.
