摘要: Background Many specific 3D imaging technologies are currently available for the practising urologists. Aim of study was to assess their perception about different tools in field prostate and kidney cancer surgery. Methods All attendees 8th Techno-Urology-Meeting were asked fill a questionnaire regarding role virtual reconstruction PDFs, printing models, Augmented-Reality (AR) mixed reality technology setting surgical planning, patient counselling, intraoperative guidance training surgery; Moreover materials used compared most suitable reproducing organ tumor features, as well estimated cost production time. Results The population consisted 180 attendees. Overall, AR preferred option training, both (55% 38.3%) surgery (58.3% 40%). HoloLens perceived best planning (50% 60% kidney), whereas printed models patients counselling (66.7% 61.7% kidney). Fused deposition deemed representing anatomy renal location (40%), while silicon (46.7%) Polyjet (36.7%) location. Finally, demonstrated poor knowledge costs times. Conclusions Our shows perceptions heterogeneous surrogate urologists potential applications daily practice.
