摘要: A digital image capture and processing system including a housing having an imaging window, formation detection subsystem, disposed in the housing, area-type array supporting single snap-shot mode of acquisition periodic during object illumination operations. The also includes with array, for producing field within FOV, illuminating detected so that reflects off is transmitted back through light transmission aperture onto to form 2D object. By virtue its modes operation, present invention has capacity support pass-through as well presentation type methods at demanding POS environments without use traditional video acquisition.
