摘要: The agribusiness contributes significantly to the Brazilian domestic production, and search for environmentally friendly systems, exploring maximum possible use of renewable resources reducing non-renewable ones, affects agribusiness' productivity competitivity. An producing corn, eggs, pork milk was evaluated using emergy accounting. effects (des)integration production processes on efficiency environmental sustainability system were assessed seven scenarios. first is existing integrated others are scenarios in which one productive subsystems removed. Efficiency measured by global relative amount protein produced. most advantageous scenario, terms productivity, increased egg ceased. This result suggests that increasing integration per se cannot assure gains sustainability. management residues poultry pig as organic fertilizer resulted an advantage presented should help evaluate organizational innovations identify trade-offs could influence performance agricultural systems.
