摘要: Aquaculture can affect the environment in a number of ways, including organic enrichment around farm, increased dissolved nutrients or chemicals in 1he growing area, escapees affecting native species, loss habitat and of amenity. Likewise, aquaculture, through poor water quality (e.g. pollutants, high particulate matter), predators nuisances species such as jellyfish seals, changing climate regimes. These impacts be reduced by careful site selection, to provide appropriate conditions for the species being cultured, good farm management. New technologies are assisting minimising these environmental impacts. Recent developments in remote sensing seabed mapping have improved selection. Monitoring and assessment aquaculture farms is becoming more ommon, this also supported new technology. A range probes is now available that be used field an immediate measure or placed situ continuously monitor conditions. Other advances include use visual techniques with digital cameras remotely operated or autonomous underwater vehicles. Computing capability mathematical models are increasingly important management, both for determining carrying capacity areas prediction impacts. These models sophisticated capable linking across different temporal spatial scales across trophic levels and incorporating social economic parameters.
