摘要: Three hundred and sixty-four patients who suffered a subarachnoid haemorrhage from an aneurysm at either the anterior (ACA) or posterior (PCA) communicating artery location were not surgically treated have been followed for up to 21 years in order study late morbidity mortality. For 213 surviving six months longer : (1) little improvement was noted during many of subsequent follow-up; (2) general, ACA fared better than PCA patients; (3) neurological state on original admission strongly correlated with degree morbidity; (4) other factors measured time which adversely affected included level blood pressure presence clot spasm ; (5) rebleeding occurs average 3.5% per year first decade; (6) mortality associated rebleed is 67%; (7) if deaths are excluded, cardiovascular causes account majority (8) risk dying all increased when compared population matched by age sex.
