摘要: Design, modeling, and measurements are discussed for a new direct-drive, electromagnetic valve actuator (EVA) internal combustion engines. The offers greater dynamic performance than previous designs achieves fully flexible timing lift, which provides great benefits in engine including increased efficiency, reduced emissions, improved low-end performance. innovative consists of simplified stationary permanent magnets, coils, moving steel plunger that transmits significant bi-directional forces to the throughout stroke. Single- double-actuator magnetic configurations, non-linear finite element analyses, system bond graphs, Simulink® simulations, controlling intake valves on cylinder head will be discussed. Future work, on-engine dynamometer testing an design variant exhaust valves, is briefly
