摘要: Stimulants are the most often prescribed psychotropics in children and adolescents, used generally for treatment of attention deficit /hyperactivity disorder (ADHD). In this article authors summarize literature on prevalence usage, neurobiology, pharmacology stimulants. Recent studies use stimulants special ADHD populations including preschoolers adults, co-occuring neurologic, psychiatric, substance disorders cited. Clinical guidelines management individuals receiving offered, strategies delineated subjects with comorbidity medication-induced adverse effects discussed.
