摘要: Conducting polymers are envisioned to play a significant role in the development of organic matter based electrical energy conversion and storage systems. However, successful utilization conducting relies on fundamental understanding their inherent possibilities limitations. In this report we studied temperature dependence self-discharge polypyrrole show that rate is kinetically controlled by polymer intrinsic endergonic electron transfer reaction forming reactive intermediate. We further intermediate intimately linked process known as overoxidation. This general for most, if not all, p-doped irrespective medium. The results herein therefore expected significantly impact future systems with components.
