This increasing frequency most parts the world and has become major cause medical expenditures United States, where it estimated cost nearly $10 billion per year. European countries report similar increases proportion their costs attributable osteoporosis. In cases, osteoporosis, occurs earlier more frequently women, associated with age-related endocrine changes, especially decline estrogen production occurring at menopause.
