摘要: To determine the rate of decline CD4 T lymphocytes among HIV-1- infected individuals. Design and setting: A prospective open cohort study workers in three hotels Dar es Salaam. The were seen yearly during study. lymphocyte counts determined using flow cytometry. T-lymphocyte slopes a linear regression model. During 9-year period 682 subjects selected for subset determinations. Of these 94 HIV-1-seroprevalent (72%) 77 HIV-1-seroincident (67%) 325 seronegative (75%) individuals had or more T-cell determinations used calculations cell with mean followup 71.4 52.9 86.0 months respectively. median percentages seroprevalent was -21.5 cells/µl -1.3%; seroincident -22.0 -1.5%. In duration to level corresponding definition AIDS 13.3 years 11.8 HIV-1-seropositive who died significantly steeper than those survived. rates HIV-1-infected our population are similar reported Europe north America.
