What Do We Know? A Literature Review of the Eastern Coyote

摘要: Coyotes (Canis latrans) have expanded into the eastern United States over last 100 years. Increases in their distribution and abundance been documented concerns about presence urban areas impact on both native wildlife domestic livestock are growing. These effects require further investigation may changes to management strategies. Two documents, a book technical bulletin, provide general overviews of biology coyotes. However, these documents not comprehensive, either readily available or were published >15 years ago. We comprehensive review existing literature illuminate gaps our knowledge that can be used direct future research.
