摘要: Euganean Hills are a magmatic district belonging to the Veneto Volcanic Province, whose magmatism developed during an extensional tectonic regime within Alpine orogenesis in intra-plate setting (the Adria microplate). Mafic and ultramafic cumulus enclaves occur trachytes. We estimated trace element composition of liquids equilibrium with minerals, employing set partition coefficients. Parental melts clinopyroxenes characterized by marked enrichment LILE, Th U relative N-MORB. Conversely, HREE HFSE concentrations resemble N-MORB contents. These geochemical signatures typical subduction-related magmas, also parental Adamello cumulates. Province mafic lavas show patterns anorogenic magmas. Therefore, those rocks not cogenetic cumulates, which interpreted as crystallized from basaltic cumulates were subsequently dismembered transported shallower levels ascending related magmatism. products subduction more widespread beneath microplate than previously known.
