The Active3D-Build: a Web-based civil engineering platform

摘要: We developed the Active3D-Build to improve civil engineering project management. This Web-based platform lets geographically dispersed participants-from architects electricians plumbers-directly use and exchange documents in a centralized virtual environment using simple Web browser. A 3D visualization participants move around building being designed obtain information about objects that compose it. The Active3D-Lab is software development arm of Archimede Group, facility management firm. Active3DLab team includes three administrative staff members, eight developers, University Bourgogne researchers. We're already marketing this product, several enterprises it their projects.
