摘要: RESOURCE21, LLC (R21) is exploring the use of Landsat mission heritage to develop commercial applications for satellite-derived remote sensing information. It believed that technology deployed meet goals will or exceed requirements put forward by NASA and US Geological Survey accomplish next-generation Data Continuity Mission (LDCM). Recently, R21 was awarded a contract pursue formulation phase activities LDCM. To assess scientific quality proposed application, several land research scientists were conducted consider how needs be best met with next generation Landsat-type observatory. The panel evaluated science application relative continuity goals, provided recommendations concerning refinements enhance both LDCM paper reviews made Science Advisory Board within context goals.
