摘要: In an attempt to elucidate the remarkable stability of foams generated from dispersions partially hydrophobic nanoparticles (fumed silica), we present investigations into static and dilational properties gas–liquid interfaces such dispersions. By relating dynamic surface tension γ(t) elasticity E measured using oscillating bubble device, confirm that Gibbs criterion > γ/2 against foam coarsening is fulfilled. We complement these studies ellipsometry Brewster angle microscopy, which provide evidence for a pronounced adsorption barrier particles network-like structure in interface at sufficiently high concentrations. observe this also freely suspended films drawn same particle
