摘要: The purpose of this study was to evaluate the use influential physicians influence test ordering in a primary care setting. Structured order forms for three commonly ordered tests were developed conjunction with chief residents internal medicine and family practice at Methodist Hospital Indiana, 1120 bed private teaching hospital. After data collected nine month baseline period, introduced by house staff Adult Ambulatory Care Center Family Practice Center. two months, discontinued. analyzed using multivariate analysis variance repeated measures paired t-tests. Test rates complete blood counts significantly reduced both centers. Urinalysis There no significant effect intervention on chemistry-23 test. findings suggest that is an effective way change physician behavior settings.
