摘要: SUMMARY Twenty-four patients treated for pulmonary tuberculosis with isoniazid and streptomycin are presented who developed arthralgia between two to six months after initiation of chemotherapy. Complete discontinuation caused regression symptoms. Pyridoxine was ineffective in the treatment this syndrome. An interference serotonin metabolism by seems be an alternate pathway its toxicity. Corticosteroid salicylate offer temporary relief; however, physiotherapy proved most effective those shoulder involvement.
