摘要: This study examines the elastic properties of human posterior retina, choroid, and sclera. Twenty-four eyes from 30- to 74-year-old donors were obtained an eye bank. Vertically horizontally oriented tissue strips sclera (ideally n = 12 in each group) harvested eyes. Their thicknesses estimated optically. The samples stretched at 1 mm/s 37°C saline. Stress strain mechanical tests, then transition stress, strain, toe modulus, heel modulus calculated. Statistical analysis was performed for comparison between groups. Linear regression analyses used explore relationship parameters age. We found that stress–strain nonlinear. Except retinal (p = 0.0124), no statistical difference vertical horizontal meridian (p > 0.05). Furthermore, weak observed some donors' Our results suggest there is significant anisotropy layer may change with © 2013 Wiley Periodicals, Inc. J Biomed Mater Res Part A: 102A: 2001–2007, 2014.
