摘要: AbstractA finite-element-based computational model is used to investigate the effects of bore cracking on stress distributions in solid rocket motors (SRMs) at various storage temperatures. Capabilities a rocket-motor health-monitoring system are assessed based assumption that proposed sensors evenly distributed along circumference inside motor case. A quantitative relationship obtained between crack depth and sensor data inversely estimate size cracks motor. It shown type sensing can detect critical SRMs.
