摘要: Objective Air leakage after pulmonary lobectomy is a well-known problem often contributing to extended hospitalization. Many techniques have been proposed prevent and treat air leakage, but none proved incontrovertibly effective. We evaluated the role of an autologous blood patch lobectomy. Methods Twenty-five patients with leaks on sixth postoperative day were enrolled in this study. They randomly assigned 2 groups: group A (12 patients), 50 mL infused pleural cavity; B (13 100 infused. These groups retrospectively compared last 15 showing presence for at least 6 days (group C) (in duration was compared). recorded posttreatment Results stopped 2.3 ± 0.6 procedure A, 1.5 B, 6.3 3.7 C. The disappeared within 72 hours all B. There statistically significant difference drainage between ( P = .005), C .0009), .0001), effectiveness patch, particularly blood. Conclusions Management easy, safe, effective, does not add costs. It may become gold standard treatment early course.
