摘要: The phenomenon of adaptive response (AR) in animal and human cells exposed to ionizing radiation is well documented scientific literature. We have examined whether such AR could be induced mice non-ionizing radiofrequency fields (RF) used for wireless communications. Mice were pre-exposed 900 MHz RF at 120 µW/cm2 power density 4 hours/day 1, 3, 5, 7 14 days then subjected an acute dose 3 Gy γ-radiation. primary DNA damage the form alkali labile base single strand breaks peripheral blood leukocytes was determined using alkaline comet assay. results indicated that extent which 1 day γ-radiation similar not significantly different from those alone. However, showed progressively decreased Thus, data pre-exposure capable inducing suggested more than hours necessary elicit AR.
