摘要: Poly(arylene ether phosphine oxide) (PEPO) with controlled molecular weights and amine end-groups was synthesized, used as an adhesive, a coating material for adherend or modifier diglycidyl of bisphenol A (DGEBA)-based epoxy resins. Closely related poly(arylene sulfone) commercial polyethersulfone, Udel® P-1700, were also utilized comparison purposes. Adhesive behavior measured via single lap shear samples function coated polymer type, test temperature (R.T. 100°C), aging condition in boiling distilled water 5% salt water. Flame resistance PEPO PEPO-modified resin evaluated by TGA flame test. exhibited better adhesive properties than PES P-1700. on Al markedly improved property even at 100°C, after study failure mode changed from to cohesive the PEPO. Aminophenyl terminated resins highly resistance, compared control samples. © 2001 John Wiley & Sons, Inc. J Appl Polym Sci 80: 1198–1205,
