摘要: Contemporaneously with the fall and transformation of Roman West, Iranian Empire yielded its East to Hun—and later Turk—conquerors. This article traces development post-Iranian regimes through dynamic interplay nomadic sedentary political institutions in fourth early seventh centuries. The conquerors adopted institutions, integrated aristocracy, presented themselves as legitimate heirs kings a manner reminiscent post-Roman rulers. At same time, however, Huns Turks retained superior military resources imperialism, included trans-Eurasian networks, distinguished ruling ethno-classes tied steppe. resulting hybrid culture came be known Turan.
