摘要: Abstract From neutron radiography experiments, often statements like “how many grams of water are in my sample?” expected. Such delicate, because contributions scattered neutrons the image signal disturb radiographies for a simple quantitative evaluation. The idea is to consider computational procedure. obtained corrected data set can then be evaluated according exponential attenuation law or reference values by simulations experiments. correction based on iterative reconstruction measured overlapping point functions (PScF). PScFs determined Monte-Carlo using MCNPX software. Important parameters beside material dimensions sample, distance between sample and detector, detector properties energy spectrum initial beam. Evaluations measurements with different detectors result differing effective cross-sections samples. This explained sensitivity epithermic domain spectrum. If inside an enclosing (e.g. container), this affect evaluation samples cross-section. Also effect understood PScF taken into account. For known geometries reconstructions good agreement allow more exact involved cross-sections.
