摘要: We report measurements of laser absorption for high-contrast ultrashort pulses on a variety solid targets over an intensity range ${10}^{13}$ to ${10}^{18}$ W/ ${\mathrm{cm}}^{2}$. These data give experimental determination the target energy content and indirect measure dense plasma electrical conductivity. Our calculations accurately reproduce behavior aluminum targets, while other materials show signs additional mechanisms. At high all reach ``universal mirror'' state reflect about 90% incident light.
