摘要: The integration of genomic data into screening, prevention, diagnosis, and treatment for clinical public health practices has been slow challenging. Implementation science can be applied in tackling the barriers challenges as well exploring opportunities best integrating routine practice. In this article, we define state disparities medicine focus predominantly on late-stage research findings. We use case studies from genetic testing cardiovascular diseases (familial hypercholesterolemia) cancer (Lynch syndrome hereditary breast ovarian syndrome) high-risk populations to consider current related turning advances population impact advance equity. Finally, address how implementation these translational discuss strategic importance collaborative multi-stakeholder approaches that engage agencies, professional societies, academic centers, community clinics, patients their families work collectively improve reduce or eliminate inequities.
